Finn Brunton is the author of Spam: A
Shadow History of the Internet (2013),
Obfuscation: A User's Guide for Privacy and Protest (2015, with Helen Nissenbaum), and two forthcoming books: Digital Cash (2018) and Communicate: Being With Technology / Hello From Earth (2018, with Mercedes Bunz).

Nicholas Knouf is an active media scholar and artist who has exhibited nationally and internationally. He is also the author of How Noise Matters to Finance (2016) and articles about radio, noise, satellites, papermaking, surveillance, mobile phones, and women in video games.
