Learn how to respond to breathing emergencies, clear an obstructed airway, perform one-rescuer CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED). Upon successful completion, participants will receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver Adult, Child, and Infant CPR/AED certificate, valid for two years.
A written and skills test will be given. You must attend the full four-hour class and pass the written exam with at least an 80% in order to receive your certification.
Campus Recreation offers CPR/AED instruction and certification for DePaul students, faculty, and staff for $12. The fee is $45 for community members and the general public.
Register at The Ray Membership Services desk, online at campusrec.depaul.edu, or on the new "The Ray at DePaul" mobile app! RSVPing on OrgSync does not equate to a reservation.
