Cultural Competency in Assessment

College students possess myriad identities (racial, cultural, gender, sexual orientation, religious, socioeconomic status, etc.), contributing to the university’s multicultural environment. The diversity of the campus population is an essential consideration when conducting assessment. This workshop aims to prepare assessors to perform culturally competent assessment by employing intercultural awareness, knowledge, and skills.

This workshop is designed for staff, faculty, and graduate students at DePaul University, Loyola University Chicago, and City Colleges of Chicago.
