DePaul Diversity Series- Special Education: How to Meet the Diverse Needs of All Students

COE Advising and the Career Center are collaborating to offer future teachers and school counselors a new workshop series to learn about critical issues of diversity within education. The DePaul Diversity Series offers a unique opportunity to interact with experts from both DePaul and the greater community. Each workshop incorporates a sample lesson and strategies for including these topics into curriculum, as well as round table discussions, interventions and systems of support.

In this Depaul Diversity Series, students will hear from current teachers and a school counselor/case manager on ways to support diverse learners both in and out of the classroom in addition to gaining a better understanding of Individual Education Programs (IEPs).
