DePaul Opera Theatre Presents: The Merry Widow

Harry Silverstein, director

DePaul Opera Theatre presents Franz Lehar’s
operetta masterpiece, The Merry Widow. At this
extravagant a air, a bankrupt kingdom’s diplomats
scramble to keep the beautiful and recently
widowed Hanna Glawari, and her inherited millions,
in the country. Filled with lilting music, stunning
ladies, attentive bachelors and infamous cancan
dancers, The Merry Widow is a delightful
evening of comedy, matchmaking and merriment.
Performances take place at the Merle Reskin
Theatre, tickets start at just $5.
