DePaul Volunteers Supporting Youth (DVSY)

DVSY primarily helps to plan after-school activities for children between the ages of 5 and 14 at Marillac House, a community center in East Garfield Park. We assist with Hope Jr., the Center's after school program that provides youth with positive experiences at a young age that will translate into positive choices in the future. Volunteers provide after school help as well as positive examples, and lots of love! DVSY also promotes awareness on campus by holding events that integrate the youth we volunteer with and the DePaul community. The purpose is to set positive examples for the youth as well as help to build a stronger connection between Chicago-land and DePaul.
