CLE - Distinguished Lecture Series: Changing the Culture to End Gender-Based Violence

The Schiller DuCanto & Fleck Family Law Center is pleased to announce its Spring 2018 Distinguished Lecture featuring Lynn Rosenthal, former White House Advisor on Violence Against Women.  Prior to serving as the White House Advisor on Violence Against Women, Ms. Rosenthal served as the Executive Director of the National Network to End Domestic Violence representing state domestic violence coalitions in Congress and working closely with corporate leaders to develop funding initiatives addressing violence against women.  Ms. Rosenthal will discuss the cultural movement bringing awareness to gender based violence, the #MeToo trend, and the critical cultural changes necessary to end gender based violence.  She will also address the history of the Violence Against Women Act, the challenges to the Act’s framework, and related public policy at both the federal and state level.  Click to register.
