Evictions: Information for Tenants

DePaul University College of Law's Croak Community Legal Clinic is hosting a three-part webinar series:  Know Your Rights During COVID-19.  Join us for part 1, Evictions:  Information for Tenants.

Every year, thousands of Americans are evicted.  COVID-19 has exponentially increased the number of people vulnerable to an eviction.

Law students from DePaul University will explain tenants’ rights under various orders issued in response to COVID-19.  They will also give advice on negotiating with landlords to avoid eviction.  Our goal is to encourage tenants to advocate for themselves in the face of eviction, armed with resources and information.

  • The presentation will last one hour, followed by Q & A.
  • Attendees will be able to set up a free, one-on-one consultation following the presentation if they need further legal advice.
  • Register now for a chance to win a $30 gift card!
