Frankenreads Halloween Open House in Special Collections and Archives

In honor of the 200th anniversary of Frankenstein and to celebrate Halloween, Special Collections and Archives will be hosting an open house from 11:30-2:00 p.m. featuring all things gothic and spooky. There will be multiple editions of Frankenstein on display, including a facsimile of Mary Shelley’s manuscript and two illustrated editions. You will also find books mentioned in and related to Frankenstein such as a text by Shelley’s father, William Godwin, about necromancers.
