Analogue games, with their focus on embodied & participatory frameworks for shared storytelling, are uniquely positioned to spread ideas of sex-positivity, sexual freedom, and queer solidarity. With the rise in prominence of independent roleplaying games as an artistic practice, game designers are using tabletop and live-action roleplaying games to connect queer communities and explore the possibilities of sex & sexuality. In this talk, Sharang Biswas will discuss the power of interactivity, explore how games can leverage this power to discuss sex and queerness, and present various games at the forefront of sexual representation.
