Handbags with Heart

Welcome to the Social Enterprise Collaborative's Fall event, "Handbags with Heart."  Join us in DePaul Center #8005 for networking, food and drinks, and an interesting presentation from an amazing social entrepreneurial venture.  Ethos Bags, a social enterprise led by two DePaul MBA alumni will showcase their venture, their story, and their vision and goals as the move toward large-scale launch and upcoming Kickstarter campaign.  This social venture works directly with the Shipibo tribe in Peru to source beautiful designs that can be found nowhere else in the world.  Then, they work directly with Chicago-area fashion designers, who incorporate the material into their designer handbags and other items.  By helping two constituencies at once with one model, Ethos Bags epitomizes the best of social enterprise.  Come learn how they're doing it.  This Social Enterprise Collaborative event is co-sponsored with DePaul Net Impact; it is in coordination with The Field Museum; being envisioned and managed by Professor Murphy's ICS 394 Entrepreneurship Strategy Seminar, and in collaboration with a creative team of students from Columbia College.

As always, this event will include significant social entrepreneurial networking and food and drinks.  We will also video stream the event live if you're not local.  We expect the typical large turnout, so please RSVP here on G+ so we can get an accurate count, keep everyone updated, and discuss.  See you there!
