How to Entice Publishers: Getting Your Academic Book Considered, Accepted, and Published

Jane F. Bunker, Director of Northwestern University Press, will present a special workshop and lecture for DePaul faculty and interested graduate students on the topic of seeing an academic book to publication. Covering every step, from a book’s inception to its final marketing and distribution, Bunker will offer attendees the  benefit of her years in academic publishing as she discusses the ins and outs of getting a book published, with special focus on how to make an initial book proposal enticing to publishers and reviewers. Addressing a wide academic audience, Bunker will offer concrete advice for getting your next book published—whether that book is your first or your hundredth.
