Introduction to Community-based Service Learning: Making it Work in Your Classroom, the Community, and Your Career

The Steans Center facilitates authentic campus-community partnerships in the quest for justice and transformative education; this year we are offering a five-part workshop series and a new Certificate Program to support this mission-based work.  The 2018-2019 series will commence with our Introduction to Community-based Service Learning:  Making it Work in Your Classroom, the Community, and Your Career. This session is ideal for those wishing to
•    teach a CbSL course;
•    refresh their knowledge and practice of experiential education;
•    connect with colleagues and community partners; and
•    begin the new Steans CbSL Certificate Program (five workshops plus a capstone project).**

Lunch will be provided.
