LinkedIn Basics for Job Searching (Career Center Workshop)

This is a “hands on” workshop held in a computer lab. Learn the benefits of creating a LinkedIn profile, including how to make connections, get recommendations, and join industry or interest-specific groups. Learn why creating a professional online portfolio is important in today’s job market. Get tips, tricks, and etiquette for using LinkedIn for networking, job searching and gathering career information. Please be sure to create a LinkedIn account before the workshop so you have a starting point when you attend the workshop.
