MSPA Event: "Data Driven Buildings"- Drew DePriest, Comfy (Building Robotics)

"Data for Better Buildings"

You spend an average of 90% of your time indoors. Operating those buildings comfortably consumes nearly half of all the energy produced and nearly half of all CO2 emissions in the United States. With the rise of the Internet of Things for the built environment, sensors and data analytics play a critical role in the ongoing effort of sustainability in reducing energy consumption in buildings.

Presented by: Drew DePriest, Comfy (Building Robotics)

Drew DePriest joined workplace experience company Comfy in 2016 after spending 12 years at building automation provider Automated Logic (ALC). While at ALC, Drew worked directly with facility managers to make their data centers, Class A office buildings, schools, and healthcare facilities more intelligent. Drew earned an MBA and Master of Finance degrees from DePaul, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering & Design from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
