Order of Protection Training with Ascend Justice

Ascend Justice will be on campus to train law students who are interested in volunteering with the organization's Emergency Order of Protection Clinic. Volunteers will work with survivors of domestic violence to obtain an Order of Protection, an important tool to ensure safety for victims and their families. Training is mandatory for all volunteers.

Will something like this be offered in the future? This does not work with my class schedule, but would like similar free-training. As a volunteer, I've worked for the rape crisis hotline and served as a support person for women survivors going through the legal system. This training could be beneficial to a lot of men and women who are not law students. How can I keep up-to-date with similar trainings and will I be able to attend?
