In this 1-day workshop, professionals learn about how Blockchain, Distributed Ledger Technology, and Cryptoassets work, and apply this new technology to real-life examples. The program begins with an introduction to all 3 concepts to demystify their commonalities and differences. The discussion topics include cryptoassets, including cryptocurrencies, and the markets and economics that support them. A deep dive on blockchain transaction mechanisms and smart contracts will be illustrated through animations, group activities and a detailed enterprise grade platform demo. Several use cases from various industries will be studied and an instructor-led group activity will assist each group in creating their own use case before presentation to the classroom. This workshop will be led by experts in digital economy, financial risk management and blockchain technology.
