Panel Discussion: Social Entrepreneurship in the US and China

You are warmly invited to an expert panel discussion of socially purposeful entrepreneurial activity in the USA and China.  RSVP and invite your friends and colleagues who may be interested.

This special expert panel discussion event coincides with a visit to DePaul University by a delegation of professors from Huaqiao University, DePaul's sister school in Xiamen China.  DePaul Professor Patrick J. Murphy and Huaqiao Professors Hou Zhiyang and Xu Xi will participate on the panel.  The discussion will be moderated by DePaul Professor Kathryn Ibata-Arens.  Chinese-English translation services will be provided.

Potential questions and topics include:
(1) What are the most important cultural differences that apply to social venture performance in the US and in China?
(2) What are the most important social venture performance and success criteria in each country?
(3) How can students and aspiring social entrepreneurs realize their goals in the US and in China?  What are the differences?

Admission is free.  The event location is the 11th Floor of DePaul Center in the North Cafe.

There will be refreshments, excellent opportunities for networking with international and domestic students and entrepreneurs, and time for Q&A after the panel discussion.

The Social Enterprise Collaborative and DePaul University Academic Affairs are sponsoring this event.  See you there!
