The New East Side encompasses the area bounded by E. Wacker Drive (N), Lake Michigan (E), E. Randolph St. (S), and N. Michigan Ave. (W). Beginning with the completion of the Prudential Building in 1955, the 88-acre area has been steadily transformed from a vast and deteriorating complex of railroad tracks and sheds into one of the city's most valuable real estate assets.
The tour and discussion will be Saturday, March 9 from 9am to 1pm and will meet at the Marianos store. It is being coordinated by the Real Estate Center with Louis Masotti, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus of the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and David Carlins, President, Magellan Development Group, LLC
