Sacred Elements

Sacred Elements is a DePaul lead Christian worshiping community rooted in the Black Church tradition of Gospel music, prophetic preaching and community. Our worship services and events are student focused and we proudly reflect and promote the Pentecostal, Baptist, African Methodist Episcopal, Church of God and Christ (COGIC) and all Non-Denominational Christian communities. We welcome and encourage observers who are non-Christian, Seekers and those who have no belief in a divine power. We proudly support and embrace Gay and Lesbian Christians seeking a supportive Christ centered community. Sacred Elements believes in the "Gifts of the Spirit" and we support baptism and progressive teachings of the Bible and its benefit to our life. Sacred Elements is lead by an ordained Christian Chaplin at DePaul and we regular welcome guest Preachers from the Chicago area. Please join us every Wednesday in the Interfaith Sacred Space on the first floor of the Lincoln Park Student Center at 6.22pm. Should we reach room capacity, we will meet in room 220 on the 2nd floor of the Student Center. For more information, please contact Pastor Keith Baltimore at kbaltimo@depaul.edu or 773-325-1191
