Description
Ever wanted to make custom graphic tees?
Want to see your own artwork printed on a shirt, poster, or card?
Come learn how to screen print!
In this workshop, you will learn the basics of creating a vinyl stencil, applying the stencil to a screen, printing onto fabric, and setting the ink with a heat gun.
This workshop provides materials and a sample project, but you are welcome (and encouraged!) to bring your own vinyl stencils and shirts or fabrics to print on. You will also get a copy of basic screen printing instructions to take home. Screen printing does not require authorization, but this is a great way to get practice and learn the process.
This workshop is free and open to all currently enrolled DePaul University students/staff/faculty. We do not accept those who are not DePaul affiliated.
Participants will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to machine use. Walk-in's will be accepted for no-show spots. Please try to arrive no later than 15 minutes after the event starts.
Participants seeking disability-related accommodations are invited to contact idearealizationlabdpu@gmail.com before the workshop so we may have the proper assistance and accommodations prepared.
