Strategies for Enhancing Instructor Presence in an Online Environment (Online)

Have you ever wondered about how to keep students engaged in an online course. Research shows that if you can create a strong instructor presence in your course, chances are students will remain focus and complete the course. We will show you how to use current technologies/mobile apps to enhance and engage student learning. Hand-on activities will give attendees an opportunity to explore various Web 2.0 technologies that are readily available.
At the conclusion of this program participants will be able to:
1. Describe best practices in creating instructor presence.2.  Identify the importance of instructor presence in online environments.3.  Implement at least one technology in their current or upcoming online course.
