1901, In Grover's Corners. Winner of the 1938 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, this haunting and unsentimental piece shares moments from the lives of two families in their small New England town. Often called the Great American play, Our Town challenges us to realize life as we live it.
A family drama about seemingly little things that matter in profound ways—featuring appearances by special guest alumni and an ensemble of graduate and undergraduate actors in their final years of conservatory training.

Audio Description & Touch Tour:
The performance of OUR TOWN on Oct 13th at 2 PM will include a live audio-description of the visual and physical events on-stage for patrons who are blind or have low vision. We also invite you to join us that day for a pre-performance program with a touch tour, which begin at 12:30 PM. The touch tour program will include information about the characters and design choices that add to the world of the play. Patrons who are participating in the audio-described event may also request the playbill in Braille, large print, and audio formats. Performances Interpreted in American Sign Language & Assisted Listening Devices:
The performance of OUR TOWN on Oct 13th at 2 PM will also be interpreted in American Sign Language.
We offer personal closed captioning devices through the Figaro Systems Inc. Simultext is and iPhone or iPod real-time captions transmitted over a wireless network. These captioning devices are available to patrons upon request.
We also offer Listen Up! personal sound amplification devices for each performance on The Fullerton Stage. These assisted listening devices are available to patrons upon request.
