“Through this form thoughts pass from me to you”: Alberto Aguilar explores DPAM’s Museum Collection

Artist Alberto Aguilar––featured in LatinXAmerican––will activate the text based works that lay dormant in the collection of the Depaul Art Museum by presenting them as a virtual multimedia presentation. The collection artworks will be purposely arranged, passed across an overhead camera, and read out loud as a chant. This program will be accompanied by music created live by Alberto's children, Madeleine and Paolo.

Presented by DePaul Art Museum in partnership with the Departments of History of Art and Architecture.

This program is generously supported by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
