Water by the Spoonful

by Quiara Alegría Hudes
directed by Melanie Queponds

Elliot, an Iraq war veteran, struggles to keep his family afloat. Haikumom, a recovered addict, tries to save strangers from drowning through an online chatroom. Water by the Spoonful moves between the real and online world, proving both spaces have more in common than first meets the eye. This 21st century family drama is a story about redemption, healing, and forgiveness.
Recommended for mature audiences.
