Women's Economic Empowerment event -- presented by Bank of America

Bank of America is presenting a discussion on Women's Economic Empowerment in conjunction with their Global Ambassadors Program in Chicago.

They are seeking 7 DePaul students to attend as special social media volunteers. Those selected will attend a thought leadership event focused on women’s economic empowerment on Thursday, September 14, from 4pm-6pm in downtown Chicago.

The event will feature panel discussions with key thought leaders from the Chicago area and around the world, including Valerie Jarrett, former Senior Advisor to President Barack Obama, Melanne Verveer, Co-Founder, Seneca Women Executive Director of Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security, and Anne Finucane, Vice Chairman, Bank of America.

It's a great networking and resume-building opportunity for any students interested in careers related to social change, economic empowerment, social justice, or government.

To apply to attend this event, students should email Kate Dalin (kdalin@depaul.edu) with their names, major/minor(s), and a brief summary of their social media experience (including links to any relevant social media pages, and/or twitter handles).
The deadline to submit an email for consideration is 11:59pm, Monday, Sept. 11th.
