Your Career Compass: Work, Money, & Happiness in Your First Job After College

Join DePaul Alumni Sharing Knowledge (ASK) Mentor Bob Berchtold for a slightly nerdy trip down your post-DePaul career path. Learn how to decide what you really want in your life/career, and how to get it. Actionable advice that you can start using today. Followed by Q&A.

Bob Berchtold graduated from DePaul in 2007 with a BS in Accounting. Since graduation he has worked in Public Accounting as an external auditor, and the Education and Media industries as a Financial Analyst.

During that time he realized that the vast majority of books and career blogs skipped straight from ‘How to Land Your First Job’ to ‘How to be a Better Manager’ leaving almost no actionable advice to help young professionals find their way in the work world, or their personal lives.

Bob’s web site ( was created to provide young professionals with practical career and lifestyle advice. Helping all young professionals become well-rounded, successful, and happy working adults.

Hosted By DePaul Alumni Sharing Knowledge (ASK). Open to DePaul students and alumni.
