The Women of Spirit & Action Awards, commonly referred to as WSA, is an homage to St. Louise de Marillac for her tireless commitment to the service of others. Our most celebrated event of the year that's open to the entire university community, WSA is a partnership between the DePaul Women's Network and the Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity.  Each fall, we ask all faculty, staff, and students to nominate a DePaul woman who embodies the spirit and action of St. Louise. At our WSA Awards Ceremony, we recognize these modern-day Louises in our midst and honor their contributions to our DePaul community.  A "modern-day Louise" is a woman who exemplifies St. Louise de Marillac's qualities of spirit and service, compassionate personalism, and the ability to get things done.
