OVERVIEW

This year’s DePaul Law Review Symposium will explore how new technology and changes in substantive law are reshaping legal practice. The event will examine the challenges legal professionals face in navigating emerging issues and adapting their advice and strategies across a range of fields, including health law, intellectual property, data privacy and corporate practice. The program will feature expert presentations, firsthand insights from practicing attorneys, and a panel discussion on building forward-looking legal strategies.

Professor Max Helveston teaches and writes on consumer protection, insurance, health, and commercial law, offering expertise in how these areas intersect with evolving legal and regulatory challenges.

Professor Rebecca Hollander-Blumoff examines legal actors, systems and norms in dispute resolution, drawing on psychological research to study legal negotiation and civil procedure.
