We want to welcome all students to a new program coming out of the Latinx Cultural Center! After School Amiguis is a space for students to connect, engage in some creativity, and learn about resources across campus. Our first get together will be Thursday, February 3rd from 3-5 PM, and it will be on Zoom! We will discuss our experiences as Latinx students, students of color, and first generation students with loneliness in our transitions to college, and how we cope with cold Chicago winters~ @healthydepaul HPW will join us to discuss mental health resources available to students. We will create affirmation jars for ourselves throughout the session, to help us fight back against the winter blues! Crafting materials will be mailed to each participant ahead of time--once you register for the Zoom link, look out for an email! (Or you can pick them up at the Latinx Cultural Center!). . . .
