Balancing Acceptance & Change: Practicing acceptance grants us a better understanding into our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Balancing acceptance with change allows us to evaluate what is serving and what is hurting us, giving us the opportunity to respond instead of react. Join us for this skills-based workshop where we learn how to balance acceptance and change. Through the use of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) you will gain skills in each of the following areas:

- Mindfulness: Being fully present in the moment
- Interpersonal Effectiveness: Learning how to communicate effectively
- Distress Tolerance: How to cope during an emotional crisis
- Emotion Regulation: Managing emotions to create resiliency
