The BIG EAST Career Consortium Fall 2023 Sports Marketing Summit, focusing on The Business of Global Sporting Events, provides students from BIG EAST schools the opportunity to engage with a variety of professionals working to bring international sporting events to life. This virtual event will open with a panel of executives who are instrumental in planning, marketing, and participating in these major global events and will also delve into a wide range of critical topics, including strategies for successful event planning, the significance of global sporting events in contemporary marketing, the economic and social impacts of hosting such mega-events, and the evolving landscape of fan engagement in the digital age. Following the panel, attendees will be able to engage in intimate networking opportunities with a variety of professionals engaged in sports and sports marketing today.

The panel will feature professionals from organizations such as NBCUniversal, the NFL, and Octagon. For the networking hour, there will be professionals from organizations such as the Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Bucks, NY Islanders, the United States Golf Association, and USA Hockey.
