DePaul Univeristy College of Law is happy to present the Business and Commercial Law Journal's 2019
Innovation, Technology, and Developments in the Legal Landscape.
This year’s Business and Commercial Law Journal Symposium will be focused on developments and innovation in the legal landscape. Our speakers will be presenting on a wide range of topics from technological developments, and how they impact the practice of law, to diversity and pay inequity in the workplace. DePaul’s own Tony Volini will speak the role technology plays in legal practice; David Ruskin (Horwood, Marcus, and Berk) will be speaking on advising clients in the cannabis industry; Bill Patterson (also from Horwod, Marcus and Berk) will offer a presentation on data privacy law and how culture impacts the law; and finally, Megan Goril, (Assistant General Counsel at Spencer Stuart) will present on diversity and pay equity in the legal field.
