This event is for current DePaul SCA students only, you must be registered and selected to participate. NO WALK-INS ALLOWED.  Registration will close on 1/31.

Join us for a day at Cinespace where you will have a chance to work with Team Deakins on how they approach a shot. Please note, participation in this workshop is only open to students who have been selected to participate.  We will be pulling names in a lottery method, if you cannot make it you must let us know so we can give another student the opportunity.  Please see below before signing up and make sure you are willing and able to participate.

How this will work: We will have 6 sets and we need students to be the crew.  You can sign up below to be in one of these roles: 

Camera

Grip and Electric

Production Design

Model (being lit and in the shot)

Don't want to be on the crew but still want to listen? Great, you can sign up as a potential spectator.

You will be given a prompt from a DePaul Professor on what your crew's shot is.  After you set up, Team Deakins will come through the set and see what you have done, giving advice and options.

Regular Shuttles will run but seating is limited 

Loop Shuttle leaves at 12:45pm

LPC 12:30pm

There is also limited parking but you must leave time to check in with the guard, and your name must be on the list.
