#asylum immigration lawThis event will address obstacles the foreign-born encounter in attempts to seek protection including the impact of immigration policies in transit countries and US domestic policies impacting access to legal remedies. Expert panelists will share their experiences in working with individuals on both sides of the US-Mexico border seeking asylum as well as civic response. The event will highlight the various areas of migration expertise within DePaul and provide opportunities to engage students, faculty, staff and the larger DePaul community.
