Please join us for the Jaharis Health Law Institute's fall semester kick-off event. We are hosting a Fall Cocktail Reception on the first day back from Labor Day, September 3rd, featuring alum Gabriela Illa Acevedo (JD '21). She will deliver brief remarks on her time in health law as we enjoy fresh food and beverages. Speaker Bio:

Gabriela Illa Acevedo is a proud Chicagoan, DePaul Law alum, and health law practitioner. Since 2011, she has worked to address issues including access to health coverage and reproductive healthcare, childhood lead exposure prevention, and more. Currently, Gabriela works on the legal team at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and holds a faculty appointment at Rush University. She is an active member of the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois.
