CPIL Skill Series: Working with Immigrant Children

In just four short lunch-time sessions, you can equip yourself with the skills to better serve an important and growing legal community: immigrant children. Marie Silver, Supervising Attorney with the Immigrant Children's Protection Project, will introduce students to the complex system that both accompanied and unaccompanied immigrant children face. Students in the series will also develop interviewing skills and legal knowledge of immigration relief specifically available to children.

The four-part skill series will be held on Mondays March 18, April 1, April 8, and April 15 in room 801. Attendance at all four sessions is required to receive a certificate of completion for the course. Contact Shaye Loughlin at sloughli@depaul.edu with any questions and to RSVP to secure your spot in this skill series.
