Cultural Competence in Assessment

DePaul’s students possess myriad identities (racial, cultural, gender, sexual orientation, religious, socioeconomic status, etc.), contributing to the university’s multicultural environment. The diversity of the campus population is an essential consideration when conducting program assessments. This workshop aims to prepare assessors to perform culturally competent assessment by employing intercultural awareness, knowledge, and skills. Participants may attend either in-person or online via Zoom.
