In this IGH webinar, we will be joined by Samantha Blondeau (they/them), Senior Research Assistant at Research for Social Change Lab; Gabriela Valentín Díaz (ella/she), Staff Attorney at EarthRights International and Wilmy Dessalines, Masters of Law student at University of Miami. During this webinar, the distinguished panel will: explain how criminalizing homelessness is perpetually harmful/makes the issue worse; share research, programs, and/or policies that support decriminalization of homelessness; discuss how practitioners around the world can adapt practices and strategies to be implemented in their region; and share insights about how practitioners, researchers, advocates, and agencies can improve partnerships with people with lived experience and other sectors and agencies to catalyze approaches to decriminalize homelessness.
