Colleagues from several DePaul departments--including Health Promotion and Wellness; Counseling; and Mission and Ministry—have created a weekly Zoom peer-led mindfulness/meditation practice group for faculty, staff, students, and community partners. Research demonstrates that mindfulness, meditation, and yoga are effective tools for managing stress and cultivating well-being. Mind-body awareness and contemplative practice have been shown to improve health, deepen relationships, and enhance engagement in work, learning, leisure, civic, and spiritual activities.
