View map Free EventDon't miss this special concert! A project 25 years in the making will have its’s world premiere, Thomas Miller’s magnum opus, The Complete Metropolis.
Performed live in surround sound with picture in Gannon Concert Hall by the DePaul Wind Ensemble under the direction of faculty member Michael Lewanski, research indicates this is the first Metropolis score ever written for winds, percussion and Theremin.
Thomas Miller started scoring scenes from Metropolis in 1998 to give sound recording students and performance majors within the School of Music recording experience. The first concert with wind ensemble live to picture was in 2005. Now, enjoy the complete score performed live!

While masks are not required inside the Holtschneider Performance Center concert halls, DePaul University continues to be a mask-friendly campus and wearing a mask will be highly recommended for all indoor spaces.
