The DePaul English Department invites you to attend our ninth annual student-run conference, a daylong event in which DePaul English undergraduate and graduate students showcase their work. Presentations include poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, literary analysis and more. Student presentations will take place from 10 AM-4:15 PM.
We're excited to welcome Nate Marshall as this year's keynote speaker. Nate Marshall is from the South Side of Chicago. He is the author of Wild Hundreds and an editor of The BreakBeat Poets: New American Poetry in the Age of Hip-Hop. His last rap album, Grown, came out in 2015 with his group Daily Lyrical Product. He is the Director of National Programs for Louder Than A Bomb Youth Poetry Festival and has taught at The University of Michigan, Wabash College, and Northwestern University.
The keynote will take place from 1-2:15 PM in Arts & Letters room 103. Reception and refreshments to follow.
