On October 11, 2022, we are excited to have a panel of individuals who will speak to Living Justice: Stories of Action from the Latinx Community. This year's panel includes Maria Pesqueira, President of the Healthy Communities Foundation, Edgar Ramirez, CEO of Chicago Commons, and Eduardo Chavez, director and writer of the documentary, "Hailing Cesar", and grandson of activist Cesar Chavez. Dr. Chris Tirres, Associate Professor of Religious Studies, will moderate the panel.
This program also commemorates Latinx Heritage month and highlights the university's Latinx resources including academic departments, centers, and student services.
You can attend this event either in person or virtually. Please make your selection when registering.
