Doran Larson: American Prison Writing Archive

Digital Witness in the Era of Mass Incarceration: Prison Testimony and the Ethics of Textual Analysis

In his talk, Larson will describe the history of the American Prison Writing Archive (APWA), as well as the potential and the challenges of using data-mining techniques to analyze the contents of the archive. Larson will be joined by Will Rasenberger, who is also a member of the APWA team.
