DePaul University College of Law is working to directly respond to the eviction and housing crisis in Chicago through a collaboration between the Pro Bono and Community Service Initiative, the Center for Public Interest Law, Professor Julie Gilgoff, and our community partner, the Law Center for Better Housing Better Housing (LCBH).
On Monday, April 13th from 5:00pm-8:00pm, at the College of Law, Student Volunteers and Attorneys will work together to assist clients with preparing petitions to seal old eviction records.
Volunteers will be trained by LCBH for this discrete and impactful pro bono opportunity.
You do not have to have housing law experience. All class years are encouraged to volunteer.
