First-Gen College Student Therapy Group: This is a weekly therapy group for individuals who identify with the First-Generation College Student experience, or those whose parents did not complete a 2- or 4-year college or university degree. This is a safe space for students to meet each other and share experiences related to being the first in their family to attend a higher ed institution! Topics will include but are not limited to obstacles in higher ed, family expectations, perceived pressure, intersectional identities, and impostor syndrome.
