#frankenreadsIn honor of the 200th anniversary of Frankenstein and to celebrate Halloween, Special Collections and Archives will be hosting an open house from 11:30-2:00 p.m. featuring all things gothic and spooky. There will be multiple editions of Frankenstein on display, including a facsimile of Mary Shelley’s manuscript and two illustrated editions. You will also find books mentioned in and related to Frankenstein such as a text by Shelley’s father, William Godwin, about necromancers. Visitors will be able to view additional gothic titles and other eerie materials from our collections.
