Gathered in My Name: Ecumenism in the World Church

APRIL 28-30, 2017DePaul University | Lincoln Park Campus | ChicagoConference website: worldcathweek.depaul.edu In 1517, Martin Luther nailed his 95 theses to the church door in Wittenberg, Germany. This April—500 years later—speakers from places as diverse as India, Nigeria, Brazil, Chile, and Sri Lanka gather here in Chicago at this conference to address the lingering repercussions of the Reformation in the global South—Asia, Africa, and Latin America—as well as the efforts there to bridge ecclesial divides. "Gathered in My Name: Ecumenism in the World Church" is the ninth annual World Catholicism Week hosted by DePaul University's Center for World Catholicism & Intercultural Theology (CWCIT). This conference is free of charge and open to the public, as well as all of DePaul's faculty, staff, and student community.
