Ready to bring the world into your classroom at DePaul? Register for this fall's Global Learning Experience faculty development workshop.

Known around campus as GLE, the Global Learning Experience is a technology enabled component of an existing course with clear outcomes and deliverables. In a GLE, sustained communication and interaction takes place between DePaul students and their peers from an international partner institution for at least five weeks.

Faculty interested in implementing a GLE project into one of their classes are welcome to register for this fall's development workshop. From October 5-23, 2026 this interactive program includes three weeks of asynchronous online work. Three synchronous meetings will take place on Oct. 9, 16 and 23, leading participants through various essential pedagogical and technological aspects of virtual exchange.

Registration for DePaul faculty is due Sept. 23. If your international counterpart is interested in attending with you, free of charge, please email gleprogram@depaul.edu by Friday, Sept. 4, to obtain special registration instructions.

Questions? Reach out to Rosi Leon, director of curriculum internationalization or Emily Kraus, associate director of curriculum internationalization at gleprogram@depaul.edu. More information about GLE is available on the Global Engagement website and examples of past GLE projects found here.
