Music industry leaders face a unique balancing act between producing an uncompromising artistic product while also attaining sustainability for their organizations. Join us for a series of conversations in which the leaders of Chicago’s most illustrious music institutions discuss this balancing act of art and commerce.
 
On this evening, President of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Association, Jeff Alexander, will join together in conversation with his colleagues Cristina Rocca, the Symphony’s Vice President for Artistic Planning and James M. Fahey (BM ’83) the Director of Programming for Symphony Center Presents. This trio will discuss the competing interests of art and economics for one of the city’s largest and most celebrated musical institutions.
